Rum Point is a public beach club at the top of the Cayman Kai peninsula that is a great place to visit. It is convenient for almost all guests staying in Villas or Condos on the Northside and East End of the island. It is managed professionally by the Hyatt waitstaff-- as the restaurant and bar are leased by the Hyatt for satellite dining/activity choices for their guests. While the Hyatt is undergoing extensive renovations in 2007; their ferry will not be carrying Hyatt guests over to Rum Point-- so only the Grill will be open for food service during the days. the restaurant may open during winter 2007.

Red Sail Sports is the watersports concession at Rum Point. They offer everything from jet-ski rental to SCUBA instruction. They have daily rentals of snorkeling gear, a glass bottomed snorkel boat excursion and also a 65' catamaran snorkel trip to the stingray city sandbar and coral gardens snorkeling site.
