Ragazzi-
With it’s
vibrant colors, authentic wood burning pizza oven and central location,
it has become a meeting point for family and friends, and repeat
customers many times over.
Ask
a local and they will say the food at Ragazzi is exceptional and
consistently good. The wine list has won the Wine Spectator Award for
Excellence for the last four years and wine aficionados love the range
and reasonable prices. The service is warm and efficient and because of
their convenient opening hours–11:30am to 11pm, seven days a week,

Reef Grill at Royal Palms-The
Reef Grill cleverly manages to combine three dining styles in a single
location. Depending on your mood you can dine in the elegant and
air-conditioned main Reef Grill Restaurant on Seven Mile Beach where you
will find stimulating pieces of art adorning the walls at one end, and a
cozy bar for pre-dinner
drinks at the other. Alternatively you can chose to either dine outside
on the lush tropical garden patio, or enjoy an ocean view from the newly
constructed second floor restaurant where you will hear the waves
lapping on the beach as you enjoy the cool evening breeze. Lastly, you
might chose to eat at the beach-side bar while enjoying a house cocktail
and in the evening listen to, or even dance to a live band playing soca
and calypso. A distinguishing feature of this restaurant is having
the beauty of Seven Mile Beach as a backdrop. So it is not surprising
that Frommer’s refer to the Reef Grill as one of Cayman’s finest
restaurants and Fodor’s call the food ‘divine’. 1-(345)945-6358 |

Yoshi Sushi-The
reviews about this new sushi restaurant have been nothing but good: “The
food is divine”, “people queue out the door”, “a must go to restaurant”,
“the décor makes
it
feel a little bit like walking into a good restaurant in London or New
York”. We had a very good meal when we went there, but everyone is
right, it is busy and you must make a reservation.
Chef Yoshi and his team work hard to create fantastic boats of sushi,
sashimi, rolls and bowls. The décor is very chic, modern and quite a
breathe of fresh air from what Cayman residents are
used to. The staff are very friendly, relaxed and
unassuming, the wine and sake lists are extensive and well priced, the
“Kirin beer authentic and freezing cold” and the dinner
menu is full of the usual favourites as well as specials suggested by
Yoshi himself. Busy, loud, fun, with good food, friendly staff and
knock-out décor – if you feel like having sushi, it is definitely worth
giving this place a try. 1-(345)943-9674 |
